Mark Ward
Mark Ward is a graphic artist based in South London and working internationally. His style is influenced by 80’s skate culture and Americana combined with elements of his British identity. Like a glace cherry gone rotten, Mark’s images inject the everyday mundane into the sun-drenched California he was sold as a kid to bring a different perspective to the American dream.
Mark graduated from Central St. Martins. Since then, armed with a mix of spray paint, acrylic and his paint-splattered Mac, he has worked across fashion, magazine covers, editorial and commercial installations. Known for his intense colour palette, Mark creates imagery that is eye-catching and humorous but with a hint of a darker undertone. Recent projects include signature collections for Stussy, Burton Snowboards and Nike.
