Joe McGorty is a portrait photographer with a passion for lighting as well as people. Whether he's using film/movie lighting, flash or ambient, studio or location he's equally skillful. After studying photography, McGorty spent 4 years assisting photographers at the top of their game from all over the world including the London based greats Terry O'Neill, Jim Lee and Barnaby Roper. His clients include Island records, Warner Music, Sunday Times, Guinness book of records, Garrard, Luxardo and Toyota to name but a few.

Joe's recent prestigious achievement was when two portraits from his British Mountaineer's project were acquired by the National Portrait Gallery in London.
